Our Presbyter

Rev. Charles M. Jeril hails from Vattukulam, Kadappoor, Kottayam district. After completing the master’s degree in history from CMS College, Kottayam in the year 2007, he decided to commit to full-time Church ministry. He completed his Bachelor of Divinity in Theology from Kerala United Theological Seminary, Kanamoola, Thiruvananthapuram in 2013.

He started his ministerial journey at CSI Parish Makkulam, Piravanthoor (2007-2008) and later served at CSI Church, Budhanoor, Kutamperoor (2008-2012). Achen was ordained as a Deacon in 2013 and later as a Presbyter in 2013. He served as a presbyter at St. Mathews CSI Church, Njeezhoor (2013-2016), St. Paul CSI Church, Adoor (2016-2019), All Saints CSI Church, Kutoor (2019-2021) before moving to All Saints CSI Parish, Jebel Ali in May 2021.

Rev. Charles M. Jeril is the elder son of Mr. V.C Mathew and Mrs. Mary Mathew, Valuthepum Kallel House, Vattukulam, Kadappoor. His home parish is St. Andrews CSI Church, Kadappoor. Achen is married to Leslie Veena Joy Kochamma, daughter of late Rev. Joy C. Daniel and Mrs. Elizabeth Joy, Achen and Kochamma are blessed with a daughter Eireen Mary Jeril.
